Citibeat News Service

Citibeat News Service, a premiere Los Angeles based television news video stringer service has merged with MotoStringer. All current, future and archived Citibeat News Service breaking news video story footage will now be hosted on the MotoStringer website.

Los Angeles Television Broadcast News Stations, Broadcast News Networks and all other news media outlets will be able to preview breaking news video stories and place orders on demand 24/7.

Citibeat News Service origins date back to the mid 1980s in Los Angeles as Citicopters News Service. Citicopters News Service provided both aerial news video coverage of breaking news story events in Los Angeles as well as having ground based news video stringer crews out 24/7. In the 1980s and the early part of the 1990s, Television stations in Los Angeles did not contract for helicopters as they do now. Instead, they relied upon helicopter news gathering companies like Citicopters News Service to provide them with aerial news video.

In 2002, Citicopters News Serviced ceased providing aerial news footage to local television stations and decided to rebrand as Citibeat News Service.

Citibeat News Service has produced more than 50,000 breaking news video stories in Los Angeles over the course of it’s news gathering efforts.

The Citibeat News Service and combined Citicopters News Service video archive library is exclusively managed for stock footage licensing by FootageWorks.com
